Guys, I just finished reading Umineko (the original 8 chapters).
I feel dead now that I've finished. It was so fun. It had some pacing issues, but it was so well written. I feel like the writing was definitely a step up from Higurashi (regardless of the story itself).
That scene where Battler dives into the ocean to catch Beatrice was beautiful.
Sometimes the story was a bit difficult to follow (I'm a brainlet), and there are some parts I don't understand yet, but I'll think more about them before asking or looking it up.
I don't browse /jp/ much and found this general by accident, I'm glad it's appreciated enough to have one. What other 7th Expansion works do you guys recommend? I've played Higurashi and Umineko so far.

Also, I really, really like Battler. One of the coolest MCs I've ever seen in any work.

If you want to know the truth of what happened in Umineko, but don't want to think about it yourself check out old threads in the archive under the name "/07/th Expansion Thread". Make sure to jump a couple of weeks back though. Here is what you need to solve it on your own if you don't already know this Shannon=Kanon, golden butterflies are a sign of conspirators and that something can become the truth if everyone agrees on it. With that last part I mean if everyone decides that a door was actually locked all along it can become red truth. The answers for each murder is on the wiki
I would not recommend Ciconia, wait until phase 2 at least. I read it recently because read an article that said it would be out by January 6th 2021 (or something like that), but that article was outdated. Phase 2 will hopefully be out during 2022, but no promises. If you hear that it's out ask again if it's worth reading.
RGD is fun, but not the same WTC. Read it if you think "anime mafia set in alternative past" sounds interesting. If you do note, it gets good like 10 hours.

Don't get me wrong, I agree with that mostly. If you don't want to consider it a general, I don't know what to consider it honestly, since it's the place where -general- discussion about 07th works is. It's not a specific thread about a character or anything similar. We wouldn't have such an OP otherwise, it'd be more like the random threads that pop up on places like /v/. Hell, there was a Satoko thread in /g/ just a few days ago.
