After seeing some late night Leanan Sidhe programming on TV, I thought that it would be a good idea to try out some portrait drawing. As you would expect, that meant my Greenworm would be my model of course! After getting some supplies, we got started with the drawing process. She held some poses while I took my time drawing her, making sure to study every contour and line that was across her small body. Occasionally I would go over and give her a little poke to see how her squishy body would move if put in a slightly different position or under different elements. We took occasional breaks during the drawing process, as it's clearly a bad idea to draw on an empty stomach. It was lots of work but I felt like I learned quite a bit from drawing my Greenworm!

Eventually, my Greenworm wanted to see what progress I had made with my learning. I was embarrassed to show her what I had been working on, but I decided to show it to her. It was a picture of her with a big smile on her face, telling me "I love you". She looked flustered while I explained to her that she was always saying how much she loved it around here and I wanted to envision her at her happiest. Eventually she smiled and looked a me, saying "I love you". She laughed and said that I didn't just need to draw those feelings, as I was able to experience it whenever I wanted. After giving her a loving pat on the head I went back to drawing, only this time I took breaks to talk with my Greenworm. Before I knew it, my drawings of her were looking even better than before. This is all thanks to the loving care that my Greenworm gave me!
