It was just a guess because writing to Program Files requires administrator privileges. If it's really a permission problem you could try moving game.exe and _inmmcnf.exe to a folder where you have write permission (Desktop or something), patch the exe and copy it back

Heh, did you know you can infinite juggle the final boss in Clarias? I almost just threw the final fight but I accidentally figured it out and won. Obviously you have to get a break and then be close enough to a wall (preferably a corner). With Towa, you can do a full normal combo (against the wall) and then finish with a strong attack (don't hold it too long to get the stun though; it doesn't work if you do that). Then just repeat. The boss never recovers and you can keep knocking it in the air. I'm not sure if there are any restrictions on this (like the rest of the life gauge needs to have 魔痕), but as long as you don't mess up the timing there's no reason you can't do this forever. I took out about a bar of life to get the win.

Yeah, I went through it just now. The final fight with Milgram was extremely hype but I still think the one in Iria's route is better. Though is great that everyone finally got a happy ending except for Hokoyasu, but I suppose even he got his happy end. Kind of unfortunate that Souun and Echika don't find out they're siblings in the true end/Iria's route but I doubt their relationship would change as much, still buddies and shit.
Overall, it was a really good VN I'd rate it an 8/10 overall. Whilst Mitsumi and Kon Su's routes were kind of not so interesting, the former had a pretty good climax. The other routes were just fantastic. I'd highly recommend it to any other anons who haven't read it yet.

Speaking Clarias, isn't Shelly's strong attack ability that does damage off the wall actually kind of bad? It bounces enemies off the wall. I unlocked it at the very end of my last playthrough but didn't use it much (the few times I did; it mostly just bit me in the ass). You're right. Actually the best incest experience I can remember was in Yoake. It was NBR but they tried to hide their relationship for a good while until two characters kind of found them together. They explained the situation in a serious manner and received advise. And the drama revolved around telling their older cousin who was shocked by them being NBR and disappointed because they didn't trust her as family to tell the truth. The actual "incest" was secondary, but the drama was satisfying. And when they openly became a couple it was over with the epilogue telling how the neighbors and school had an issue with the "incest" relationship but some have come around and others are still looking at them weirdly. I would've liked some "show don't tell" here but the route was already over and this snippet was better than not mentioning the hurdles they went through for over a year.

Finally finished a route in Love Bride Eve. The entire playthrough has no drama, and full of lovey dovey stuff (e.g. playing games together, help her studying, etc) with the childhood friend heroine, and some moments with both of them being helped by the friends (e.g guarding the rooftop while they're fucking there, help MC cut), and they helping the side characters back in return like helping the bro confess, cheering up the depressed homeroom teacher, etc. The downside is, there's barely anything else, no helping MC or the heroine chasing their future, no after story, etc, and feels monotone after a while. It feels like playing a low priced single heroine game except this has side characters to interact with and has 7000 yen pricepoint. If you just want a cute high school childhood friend romance with some friends in it, go for it, I personally like it, it just that I feel like I should get more from a 7000 yen title.

Yeah I had the NG+ patch when I gave that fight a bunch of serious tries. I think he's unbeatable. I remember one time I got really close with barely any lifebar left (had to be like 2-3 breaks away from winning on a normal boss) but all my attacks did absurdly little damage. I think it might be just programmed to where your attacks do less and less damage as you damage him down. Probably eventually it'll reach 0 (didn't get far enough to confirm that). On very easy, his difficulty doesn't change at all (the life bar is the same) and beating him there is not a bonus point for the ending like some of the other fights you're allowed to lose so I'll take that as evidence for now.
