Seiga faked her death because it was hindering her from her dreams. But now that Seiga has her taoism and hermit abilities (and isn't interested in heaven since they told her to fuck off), the question is could she become a good wife now? I think it's safe to presume her first marriage was a strictly political one done due to the nature of the times as opposed to even fleeting feelings of love.
