Is it really that difficult to understand Umineko? I've been trying to convince a friend to try reading the sound novel, but he believes the premise is just stupid.

I started reading Umineko waaaaay before i started browsi ng /jp/, I started because of the fisrt UMG I found on youtube and I tried to find the game. I played the 1st translated and the second with the translated script, thanks to baka-tsuki (where it was before). So I can't understand your point there
