Does anyone have suggestions for gameplay-oriented VNs or just regular games? Mainly looking for strategy/simulation stuff. Customization would be a big plus. I played Sengoku Rance and it was okay, at times I really liked it while at others I really just wanted to be done with the game. I didn't like Daibanchou. Suzukuri Dragon had one big flaw, which was the game ends way too early so it felt really tedious to build everything back up over and over every next game.

Little german artillery slightly related.

I think I saw Wizard Climber mentioned before. What is that game like?

About that pic...

Does Bofors-tan hang with Bloodhound-tan, and how does Bloodhound-tan feel between reloads after she fires off her missile?

As far as I know, this is the only artillery character in the new version. The rest are naval/tank/air forces, including the Sherman, Matilda II, Swordfish, P-38 Lightning, Crusader, Lancaster, Tiger I, and Ju-87. That's less than half the cast.

Pictured is Italy's L-3 tank

Cute. Too cute.
Literally, too cute. I feel disturbed at the thought of her rolling over children on her tiny little tracks with the kitten cheering her on, and sick at the thought of her taking a non-penetrating APDS head on and having to be comforted by Semovente-oneesama.

Having ideas of battlefield survival in the back of the head keeps ruining my impression of mecha musume.

Really? Because I think that sounds adorable. Seriously, she's so small that rolling over someone with her treads won't cause any harm. At most, it'll just annoy them and they'll have a comedic tread-mark over their face. I know I'd let Veloce run wild all over my body.

Pic is the Crusader.

Damn it, now you've got me imagining some little Panzers in the repair bay crying after being hit with a few HEAT warhead. They're probably lucky to even be alive, what with those gigantic ruptures in their outer hull, and the blown armor.

If it makes you feel better, Germany was fucking amazing at repairing their tanks. Also, I imagine your description to be a panzer with slightly singed hair and torn clothes. Different minds I suppose.

Indeed. You're happy to even be alive after running into Abrams-tan, the meanest girl on the battlefield... Actually she ain't the sharpest crayon in the Crayola Funpack, but she's got rich owners that spoil her with new cool stuff all the time.

Perhaps the balance of terror could be evened out if Merk-tan could join in and give Abrams-tan a good cannon launched rocket right through the cupola. But unfortunately Merk-tan is a bit of a bitch and won't hit anyone who might hit back.

Of course, them panzers could always call in ol' Neubaufahrzeug-oneesama when things get hairy. But she's big, clumsy, suffers from chronic depression, and contemplates suicide due to being a faulty design from scratch. So frankly she ain't much help.

Meanwhile in the East, the new girl on the block flexes her muscles... but like hell she's going out with the others, no way. That'd be SO embarassing.
She wants to be a big cat like the others SO bad, but she ain't even got a nickname yet. Type-90-tan? Cute? Awesome? Not exactly.

If the lonely queen of the North was still around, things sure would be different around here!
But history is oblivious and unforgiving, and so she has long been reduced to Norwegian road filling.

I do not understand OP's pic. What is the practical use of strapping a loli onto a stationary artillery piece? Not only would it destroy her eardrums, but her controlling it would be utterly unfeasible. And don't even mention reloading.

The only real applications I see is having a cute little girl carrying the thing (or at least the tripod) on her back.

Perhaps. Perhaps you could tell her her sister has gone down with men and all. Perhaps you could tell her her sister lies cold and still, maimed and splayed out on her back upon the dark floor of the Atlantic.
But the question is, would she want to know.

Also, hey, you found the missing twin!

I don't think that's Bismarck, Bismarck didn't have a painted turret roof. Only Scharnhorst, Gneisenau and Admiral Hipper class have painted roofs. And Hippers look very much like a small Bismarck that the Brits mistook Prinz Eugen for Bismarck.

Here's Prinz Eugen

Exactly, the blondes in that series are Scharnhorst and Gneisenau, otherwise known as the terrible twins.
Not sure if there's a Bismarck-tan in the series I got Tirpitz from.

Also, out of tanks. Thus death trades the tracks for wings.

Seen that mentioned occasionally, but more often it's been the "terrible twins".
Perhaps different communities refer to them by different names? Or one is recent and one is wartime?

Also >>3357916 seems to be Gneisenau, which means the set I got Scharnorst from was mislabeled.
