Time to revive this thread again: What is /jp/ currently playing?

I'm currently playing Swan Song. Not too far into it yet (I think I'm nearing the end of atto secondo). So far it's been very good, I love the way the atmosphere of the game is presented, even though not so much has happened in the game yet. It's actually my first non-ADV, but surprisingly I'm not troubled by the textwalls (the one in the picture isn't even close to some of the larger textboxes in this game). The only complaint I have so far is that some of the eroscenes are fucking draggy as hell, to the point that it makes me want to just hit the skip button.

I also installed Hoshizora no Memoria last week with the intention to start playing it, but for some reason I haven't felt like starting it yet. Maybe after I finally feel like taking a break from these darker games.

Just finished Saihate no Ima.
Well it was quite a ride, I'm not even sure I understood everything, but it was great.
Goodnight sweet prince.

I completed LEAVEs a while ago. Can't say a lot of good things about it. The narration and writing were pretty nice but the plot was very average and predictable.

I'm playing Heart no Kuni no Alice. Everybody wants to fuck the shit out of Alice. The maids, the card soldiers, the White Rabbit, the Mad Hatter, the Queen herself, fucking everybody wants her. Which is funny considering it's not an eroge and it seems to actually be part of the story that she's a selfish spoiled broken girl who deep down secretly wishes someone/everyone was in love with her. Or something, I'm not really that far yet.

Just started Muv Luv. At present, I'm maybe halfway through my first route in Extra.

I'm already hoping like hell that there's a good end for Sumika at the end of all this.

I'm slowly advancing through the PC version of Yu-No now, and I have to say it is indeed one of the best VNs in existence.
Shit is really long and awesome. (It's from 剣乃ゆきひろ after all, who was always my favorite scenarist).
It's kinda a shame that the PC version doesn't have voices though...

I just took a break from Majikoi to start reading Baldr Sky. Not far into it but it seems pretty awesome.

I'm definitely planning on checking this one out as well, maybe even right after finishing Swan Song and Memoria. Not too confident in my Japanese, but whatever, it's not like it's going to get any better by reading simpler VNs anyway.

>>3355615
Why don't you play the Saturn version? I remember getting it running on an emulatur without any problems. Never got past the first few screens in the game though, as the script size scares me too much.

Are you sure you're near the end of the second act?

>> No.3355645

>>3355631
I'm the 7th scene of the second act, so I guess? To clarify, I meant it more like not so much has happened in comparison to the large amount of text that I've read so far. Either that or I read just read way slower than I think I do.

You probably did, Swan Song really isn't long at all.

I just finished Moonshine.
It was pretty good. Made me a little sad.

Played 'The Letter' from a recommendation, leading to massive disappointment. Right now I'm grinding through Love Plus to see what's the hype is all about. Touching Manaka in the right place is fukken hard.

I hope someone provide ddl for Aoi Shiro soon.

Playing Baldr Force and Mindead.

Baldr Force has a pretty shitty beginning. It starts with a bunch of 'hackers' infiltrating a military facility as their last hack before they disband. And then the protagonist turned emo when his bestfriend died due to it. How fucking stupid can you get. Its all their damn fault in the first place. How about some personal responsibility? I heard it gets better so I'll continue playing it.

Mindead BlooD is pretty good but Yuuka keeps killing me. I don't want to use a walkthrough since it's not your standard VN and has a semblance of freedom in what you can do.

Warinaki again. I had postponed it to play Badlr Sky.

Don't worry, Extra has good ends for all heroines. Pay some attention to the OP lyrics.

>> No.3355797

No VNs at the moment, sadly. I've finished pretty much all of the translated VNs I have any interest in that just aren't sex romps, unfortunately. I'm thinking of trying to play some Japanese VNs with AGTH + ATLAS, but I'm wary of how tolerable it will be.

There's actually a "bad end" for Marimo. Though it made me laugh more than anything.

Yu No guy here.
Sudo, why don't you give a try to Eve Burst Error? (same writer with Yu No)
I've seen it on vndb that you loved Snatcher, and Policenauts, yet curiously you haven't tried Eve or Desire. I'm quite certain that you'd love Eve B E too.

Here, that contains all of the Yu-No releases (SS version, the PC version is on the Classics ISO, the PC98MS-DOS version, and even the SP disk extra scenarios).
I'm going with the PC version myself, because of the H-content and other bullshit reasons.
