...but isn't it also a bit dangerous? What if they accidently and break their veins and blood goes spraying everywhere and oh god i'm dying and shit? Would that also be moe?

Well one would think it isn't as fragile as normal blood vessel since it got that way. I would assume it has some sort of outer shell and even the vessel itself could have a rougher, more resiliant texture (similar to skin maybe?) that would allow it to remain on the outside. Otherwise they could just trip and break their own blood vessels. Evolution just doesn't work that way. You don't evolve into a form that's utterly fragile without it having some sort of protection.
