It's amazing how there can be five threads of discussion and theories on Baldr Sky yet not a single one of them will take the time to even suggest translating it themselves.

The way they seem to have a handle on the spoilers suggest that they have an intimate enough knowledge to translate atleast part of it and gain some help. Even LovePlus has some work on a translation.

Probably, yeah. But from what I've been following, 70% of the black walls are at most 3 different people going over the same things again and again. I personally stopped contributing significantly somewhere during the second thread. It's not really a very difficult game language-wise, other than the fact that much of the technobabble would require some serious thought to translate without the translation sounding stupid.

Yet another bland, unappealing visual novel/eroge with cookie-cutter visuals, one-dimensional characters that adhere firmly to all the mainstays of eroge.
Huge eyed, waifish girls wearing seifuku, twin-tails, multicoloured hair...in short, nothing to distinguish it from the hundreds of other Eroge out there.

Par the course for most eroge, really. It's pretty shitty, but the ^_^XD crowd will love it, eat up, and ask for seconds.

Sure, if you want machine translation level quality that is. Good enough to read the game =! good enough to translate it. This isn't your average slice of life eroge. There's alot of technobabble expositions and jargons in there that would be hard to translate into their correct English term.

Also the spoilers there are just basically one of the following:
Arguing about minor details
Speculations about Dive2
A debate concerning the sanity of a certain character

Since Baldr Sky seems like a popular choice, I'll vote for some other obscure title. What are the chances of it losing anyways? Ixrec would have to rig the poll for anything other than BS to win. My vote won't matter much, so I'll just go with something against the mainstream.

Last time we had more than a few people going "shit, I voted Inganock because I figured Baldr was gonna win anyway". If everyone who wanted Baldr had voted for it, furry would have not won.
