Ok, so who is in the game.
Stage 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, EX

Marisa

Stage 5 or 6 has to be Mima, so we're down to 7.
3 random bosses for the first three stages
down to 4
a tossup for stage 4
a stage 5 or 6 random.

Reimu, Marisa, [random girl], boss 1, boss 2, boss 3, boss 4, Mima/Boss 5.
Ex boss.

9 Possible Characters, 10 if all are unique
Now, I want to see more characters return, not a new set that will be 80% forgotten.

Reisen, Yamame, Cirno, and Kutaka will be playable. It'll be about beating up pestilence gods to save Gensokyo from Covid while treating victims. Reimu, Marisa, and Sanae will show up as character-dependent bosses in stage 4, having been temporarily made crazy by their illness. The protag will defeat them and put them into bed. Cirno will be there because of an "idiots never get sick" joke and will fight Lily as a boss on stage 4 because she thinks Lily is bringing spring and causing everyone to get really bad hay fever.

The extra stage will be stopping Kokoro, who has appeared in the human village and is forcing everyone to wear (her) masks. (This also turns out to be the actual reason the normal protags went crazy)
