a 4-member group from a few years ago, eh? Since a new Minimoni is in the works, we can probably rule that out. T&C songs are generally a little more technically demanding and mature sounding than a group as young as S/Mileage can do, but C-ute covered some of their songs, so it's not completely ridiculous. 4-nin Tanpopo songs seem about right in tone for a younger group, but somehow it just doesn't seem to fit.

But yeah, ever since about 2005, I'd say Tsunku has been writing fewer songs for H!P. Basically he was only writing for Morning Musume, V-U-den, Berryz, C-ute, and Gocchin. Everyone else was singing songs written by other songwriters. Don't forget that Tsunku is the executive director of TNX, has his own restaurant, produces health socks, has a wife and twins, now has his foot in the door of the video game industry with Rhythm Tengoku, and still manages to find time to write songs and produce idol acts. The guy has a lot more on his plate now than when he wrote almost every song for every H!P act. I have nothing but respect for the amount of work Tsunku takes on.

I don't have the pic but in about 2004 (?) during a performance she had a sleeveless shirt on and when her arm was up you could see that she had a scar on her armpit, ever since when she was in H!P, her costumes were never sleeveless, even if she was performing with others and their's were sleeveless, her variation would be sleeves of some sort... and that just heightened the boob job rumor coz apparently under the arm is one place they can do the surgery from or something (i have no idea about the procedure, just going by what others have said)

This song is fairly boring, but not bad by any means. What is bad is the fact that they chose to use the complete opposite from the right kind of microphone for her singing style. It highlights all the faults of her voice pretty badly. I'd definitely follow this a bit more, as long as her vocals sound better in the recording. The arrangement is the biggest draw, I suppose.

Her nerves only showed in her vocals a bit. She sold the song with her stage presence fairly well. Okay, "sold" is probably too strong, but her experience as an idol was definitely helping her (as can be seen in the visible change in her face as soon as the song and her performance is ending). Or maybe it was just the spinning camera.

I agree with AEUG, that it really isn't a style for her to be singing in and her flaws come out quite clearly, not just in the performance but the PV.
