I just finished Tataridamashi. What the fuck.

How did Teppei escape to hide in the house? Was the whole fight some sort of hallucination or memory from another fragment while Keiichi lay there hurt by Satoko's trap? Is that why there were some weird borders around the screen during that scene? And why did Ooishi shoot everyone?! How did Satoko get there just in time for the shooting? And what's with the weird medicine bags shown in Teppei's house and Oryou's room? Is this the thing driving everyone batshit insane out of nowhere in Gou?

My guess is Ooishi offered to drive the Child Welfare Center guy to the house but had him killed instead for some reason. They never got to the house. And Satoko made up the whole story over the phone, she had actually poisoned her uncle with her HS meds after slipping some pills in his drink, hoping to kill him. This is why she had no bruises when we saw her naked body!

But that would mean she was never hit at all in the entire arc, so she must have done this to him on the first day. SHE was the one who broke that small statue and peed all over it, blaming it on Teppei to fake his existence. She actually had him restrained and tortured after injecting him with all sorts of shit. She probably sat on his face and farted to make him suffer! He went insane from this torture and the HS, air and poison injections, so he broke free just in time for K1 to show up at the house!

Also, the super cute pitslut outfit she wore to the festival is a huge redflag. Why the random outfit change? Is this connected to Lambda somehow? And why did she want to fuck Keiichi so badly?

In Saikoroshi she possesses the body of a very different Rika that gets bullied. She realizes she's taken over bullied Rika's body and erased her existence forever. THIS makes her realize she's been doing exacly that to all the Rikas in the previous fragments, which she never thought about before because she always saw herself as Rika. But now she realizes that her looping has made her personality so different from her original self that she's not even Rika anymore, but someone else entirely.

This is why she said that to Rena in Tsumihoroboshi. She was already more or less aware of not being "Rika", but a significatly older Rika taking over her body instead. So she said she's been calling herself Rika for 100 years, meaning she's not the innocent Rika that Rena knows, meaning she's been taking over someone's body and pretending to be her all this time.

It's not that hard, dude. And no, Bernkastel didn't originate from Saikoroshi, she split from Rika before Onikakushi. This is why we have her poems from the beginning of the story, this is why she talks to the audience in Minagoroshi, this is why she literally connects the fragments to create the Matsuribayashi world and visits future Akakasaka, this is why she talks to the audience again after Matsuribayashi and even visits young Miyoko. She was already her own thing before Onikakushi.

Rika calling herself Bernkastel is a way to differentiate herself from the Rika whose body she's taking over when she loops. There is a fundamental difference between her abilities and personality and Bernkastel's, who exists entirely in the meta realm.

And there's Lady Bernkastel as in the witch from Umineko. But she's literally the same entity as the second Frederica mentioned above. The difference is that this is her 1000+ years after leaving the Hinamizawa fragments, meeting Lambda and becoming Featherine's miko (Gou appears to be the origin story of this).

The cat vessel isn't her original form, it's just how she appears in the human world, just like Featherine has her own vessel in Ikuko. EP8 mentioned how Featherine turns her favorite mikos into cat overlords, as a sign of servitude because she appears as a human. Bernkastel was NOT originally a cat, it's the opposite. She originates from Higurashi.

Reminder that Gou is canon and Satoko is a murderer and evil, doesn't even need L5.

This might work if we assume that whoever killed Rika in the future is Satoko in order to loop back.

I think originally Lambda made Takano's goal certain across 99% of fragments, making it practically impossible for Hanyuu to find a world where Takano DIDN'T go through with mass murder. Now Lambda has descended into the board and has been dwelling within Satoko since the start of Gou, so she's no longer influencing the odds in favor of Takano's murder plan. There is no longer a witch making fragments where Takano gives up impossible to find.
