Are there chans especially for NEETs?

There sould be.

Provide me with some of your knowlege!

NEET is just a currently /jp/ buzzword. The actual NEETs here are few and far between, but what you will find are a bunch of college students with jobs saying "yeah bro I'm a NEET I just pee'd on the chair" etc.

Yeah. Stop that. Your mother is the only woman in the world who will love you unconditionally, Anonymous. You should love her back, especially if she's financing you. I bet she even cooks meals for you too. It's alot harder to be a NEET without the support of a family member, even if you manage to collect SSI. You'd be surprised how much less food there is.

Go tell your mother you love her, Anonymous.

I used to be until I thought it would be nice to have a little extra cash to spend. I got a job and soon realized I didn't really spend that much money. I have no car, no cellphone, don't drink soda or eat fast food, and already have everything I want right here in my room. So I had this surplus of money sitting there and I wasn't doing anything with it. I quit after I realized that and still have about 90% of the money I made working. Life's never been better.

Technically, I've had a NEET status for the past 2 years. But far the past year I've switched over to being a productive NEET. So it depends a little on how you see it. I've been taking exams, which could eventually get me somewhere in life, thus going against the basic NEET principles, but I haven't been going to any school, and I'm not considered to have a student status by the institutions that could give me student benefits.

Better hope your mother doesn't die or gives up on you. Unless you have something to fall back on, your lifestyle will end after that.

Here's a cool story about my uncle; a true NEET:

My uncle just turned 42 and has never worked a day in his life. He stopped going to school when he was in 6th grade and has been living with his parents since then. I'm pretty sure hes a virgin and has never even touched a girl. He is, however, one of the nicest/honest guys I've ever met. He may have never worked but he learned to cook and took over all the housework. I can't really call him someone who would just leech off his parents and do nothing since he would help with whatever he could. When his parents got older he basically was their caregiver. Would /jp/ nurse their 80 year old mother?

Anyway, his mother passed away last year, and his father this year. Hes now alone with no source of income. His family said they would help him with the bill and payments, but where are they now? It's not like they have the money to help anyway. The only one he has to rely on is his sister (my mom). They owe taxes on the house and can't pay it and are probably going to lose it. My uncle is going to have to move in with my mom. Who knows how long my mom will support him or if she can make him get a job. His NEET lifestyle may be over.

Moral of the story: Make sure your parents write a will and leave you a BIG inheritance.

NEETs don't actually want to do nothing. They just want to do what they really enjoy. I'm not a NEET, but I do want to live without having to work another day. I'm wasting 8 hours a day in an office pretending to care about a job I hate for a company I don't give a shit about. I'm sure there are those who truly enjoy their jobs, but I'm also pretty sure most are just doing it to pay the bill.

Three or four years. It's taken a lot of therapy and medication, but I feel significantly more like an adult than I did back when I dropped out of school.

There's no 'tips' on survival, since to live this kind of life, you've got to be so depressed that you'd rather face not eating than to face asking someone to buy you food. All I can say is that like most things, it gets better in time.

The future still terrifies me, but I've found something that holds my attention more than entertainment. Something I can really build a career out of.
