Basically what the title says; did Touhou make you start doing anything that you now do regularly in your daily life, such as when the new month starts you say ‘rabbit rabbit’ or when you have the time dressing as or actually worshipping one of the goddesses/characters from it?

I’m discounting going on /jp/, listening to Touhou music, looking at Touhou art and doujins, playing the games, the obvious stuff like that.

Well, Touhou (namely Suika being one of my favorites) meme'd me into wanting to try sake really bad. It's good but not great in my opinion. It reminds me of a drier, less grainy version of my homemade mead.

Exactly! It seems like it'd be between worshipping fictitious Shinto deities like Suwako or taking an interest in Buddhism or Taoism.

Okay, I will admit Futo gave me a slight interest in Taoism and I bought the Zhuangzi. However, I had already read the Tao Te Ching and I have an interest in philosophy to begin with, so it was not terribly drastic. If anyone else out there wishes to read it, a brilliant new translation of the complete text was just released in 2020 by Brook Ziporyn.

Picked up Japanese and drawing which in turn led to learning more about self studying, how memory works and mastering habits through spaced repetition systems. I'm still an unemployed failure though.

I did get interested in Shinto thanks to Touhou, but I didn’t worship any of the 2hus; it was more Amaterasu and Tsukiyomi and all that

Some parts of my life.
I found myself thinking about mythology again for the first time in years.
Even as a meme, taking it easy draws out the good in life. People have forgotten how to take it slow and enjoy life as much as you can.
