Couldn't get into a Singapore uni, neither a Japanese so I am aiming for this one.

Are the admission requirements here high? My average is just above D, I'll get it to a C by next year

Reputation. A friend of mine (no joke) came to study in the UK for university instead of HK. It's just better on paper when applying for jobs etc.

That said, with those grades your currrently attaining. You'll fit right in at the HK Polytechnic University.
