Yeah I'd highly consider trying it out at least for a few rounds. Volt is a top tier gun right now and Astel's main weakness is those final close range fights where G7 is useless. Also more teams are definitely figuring them out.
There was a round yesterday where Astel dealt a fuck ton of damage on a team while using another assault rifle, so im confident with him being able to adapt quickly.

Anon, his accent isn't that bad to be honest. He speaks fairly clearly and it's easy to infer stuff as long as you know how shit conjugates. I usually look at the translations just to double check if I was hearing stuff right though. The EOPs he used to have aren't EOPs anymore since a good number seem to starting to do their Nihongo reps and blend in. It isn't hard to grab resources while you listen and playing back the archive at certain points is always free (if it isn't privated or deleted obvs). It sucks to have people who just stick around for funny noises but I hope they eventually go beyond that.
