Meta Battler is the same person always.

The one 'fighting' with Beato in the end of EP 4 is Meta Battler. He 'broke the rules' to say, and took possession of his real self. And, in the end, it died to fulfill the prophecy.

Then again, Beato screw the rules first, opening the Golden Land with Battler still alive and still skeptical.

Sorry, that was a long way to say that there is only one meta Battler.
