Is there a gacha game even general videogame fans would enjoy? I just don't like the transaction model, don't like the lack of completion - I love going for 100% in games and with gacha that's unrealistic. Also have no idea how much money you'd end up spending on one of those.

But I guess if the underlying gameplay is good, or if the waifu content is cute enough and there's replay value and lotsa stuff to do without needing to pay extra, I might look into one. I'm a huge fan of Kirby games and Super Kirby Clash that came out recently was really addicting. Even though it had an energy system and microtransactions, that game was really good at balancing resources and growth curve. You could go for 100% and play continuously without ever needing to pay if you managed resources optimally, and there was a constant feeling of progress, really addicting gameplay loop. The game didn't shove microtransactions in your face either. Hopefully there are gacha games like that.
