I don't think she hated the character, just didn't care much for it because she herself isn't much of a tomboy. And she dropped her -ssu gimmick as soon as she was able to. But it did fit with her hyperactive personality if nothing else, her 3D is absolutely spot on with that outfit. She couldn't do a lot of sports in her childhood but she still loves summer, outdoors and leads an active healthy way of life. People often associate this with being a tomboy but I think it's important to draw a line. Subaru's personality, especially right now, is really really girly.

As for the outfit, the quality of her second one is so much better it's not even funny. It's more detailed, better proportioned and was better rigged at the time. Overall more appealing in general. It's not true that Subaru completely abandoned her original outfit, she uses it sometimes and has no problems bringing it up if needed, she just loves her other ones a whole lot more. She's one of the rare holos who keeps consistently using her New Year outfit all year long too.

It's true for everyone and there's nothing wrong with it, it's just how people are. Subaru's voice is really flexible and she gets really excited when she plays so naturally she goes through a few different tones when she streams. That's just her being entertaining, she can't be monotone and casual like Choco or Roboco when she does things.
