How the hell am I meant to get these off of Dao lamp holders? With they were compatible with Samducks so I didn't have to take everything apart.

Alright what about these ones in dao's pop'n controller? They don't seem to have a tab thing. I watched danadamkof take these off with a screwdriver but his seem a little different and it's not working for me.

A few years ago I tried pop'n at a convention because it looked cute and pretty and I failed hard. Then when I got home I pirated all the PS2 games.

Damn, do they feel this light in arcades once worn in? Can't imagine actually playing on a setup this light, but maybe I just got too used to dao's retard heavy setup.

Forgot to add that the default samduck config feels pretty good to me (200g/60g afaik?) while not being ridiculously heavy like default dao, so maybe I should have just listened to the anon who mentioned gersungs being good when I was placing my order.

Grew up with DDR and Stepmania around because of my oldest brother. Tried beatmania for real out of curiosity, now I can't stop. My fingers, they hurt. But it hurts so good.

What are your rhythm game pet peeves?

For me its games that make a sound when you hit a note. Not keysounded games but ones that make a clap sound or something similar

I like them for mobile games since there's no tactile feedback on a touch screen. Anything with actual buttons or I guess something like Taiko should just not have them.

older brother got ddr extreme on ps2 back in like 2004 and i got hooked on it when i was like 10

i'm still awful at most hand based rhythm games though so i've stuck to ddr/drs for the most part
