You can drop Akagi and run Washington in her place to block Washington friends. You already have enough fighter power to get superiority on the boss and parity on all route nodes without her, and Washington's damage boost makes her a better dealer than Akagi.

Yuudachi is by far your worst attacker. If anything, she should be holding the flashlight, not Haguro. You can move Kasumi's fireworks to Haguro and give Kasumi an extra gun or torp. Yuudachi can use 2 guns to help shoot down PTs since she has a good chance of being useless at night anyway.

Flashlight on Poi since she has no bonus, replace bombers on Akagi with fighters and replace 1 fighter on each Intrepid and Hornet with another TB.
Bonus dmg is the name of the game and Akagi has no bonus, so giving her an attack that can at best scratch the main fleet is worthless, vs giving an extra 10% critical chance and extra opening air torpedo to two big bonus ships is actually useful.

You lack anti-PT. I'm guessing the PT boats are violating all of your vaginas. Every destroyer should have one gun and an extra slot with a lookout to get the accuracy bonus, plus two torpedoes of course. Combining 3+ of those combos with fully sparkled route support is the only way I got a decent pass rate in X2. That makes it hard to fit a flare, so I put Atlanta in main with Nissin, and Yura in escort with searchlight, minisub, second night plane and flare on Haguro, but some people just replace Atlanta's GFCS with a searchlight.

Also what the rest of the replies said. Priority upgrade gear is the stuff used to deal damage to event final bosses, and the best fighter planes. This boss often has a lot of enemies attacking at night so I put the cutin destroyers in the first 3 slots and the double attackers in the last 3 slots.

It's not surprising. Mary only received her last remodel in 1945 so most of her pictures have her looking just like Colorado. But yeah at the end of the war Mary was at a halfway point between West Virginia and Colorado.
