Or they were using individual level permissions when, because they're under the umbrella of Cover corporation, they needed company level permissions. Allow me to first start with a definition. I'll call someone who openly expresses dislike for a vtuber a "phobic" rather than an "anti". This is because I believe the negative reaction is not because of a genuine dislike but rather a fear caused by a misunderstanding or an implicit threat of their view of the world. It is for this reason that I believe that the term "anti" as a whole should be abolished and replaced with "phobic", which incidentally makes for better adjectives, think "kiaraphobic" rather than the unnatural "Kiara anti". Furthermore, I do not think it is appropriate to call Kiara's fanbase a cult; a cult involves some kind of religious overtone, which is entirely absent with Kiara. While the pretend reverse work relationship that she has with her fanbase is certainly unusual and leans towards a personality cult, there are no rituals to speak of or an absolutistic element in Kiara's behavior. It therefore seems more appropriate to call it a "group" for the lack of a more succinct term.
Kiara, after her rough start, found her niche in a both emotionally abusive and codependent relationship with her fanbase. It is emotionally abusive because she will routinely and without hesitation lash out against her own fans. The first such example was the Mario Kart stream after she'd had a talk with Marine: "KFP janitor, clean this shit up. I'm not paying you, but you gotta do your job." She implicitly projects the high expectations she has for herself upon her fanbase and this manifests in such frustrated, short-sighted and short-tempered reactions. The fanbase, on the other hand, not only tolerates but encourages such behavior; this is interesting not only because it shows a clear trend towards gathering a masochistic crowd (which is arguably over-represented by weebs as a whole) but also because it alienates all those who aren't part of the KFP group itself: They are confronted with what is normally considered abnormal behavior and everyone around them seems to enjoy it. The relationship with her chat is codependent because Kiara has obvious self-esteem issues, which is most trivially shown in her recent SC reading stream. Despite having been showered in praise (and money) for hours upon hours, it took one dedicated fan's critical message for her to break emotionally, strongly suggesting that she requires constant external positive feedback to maintain her sense of self and meet the standards that she has set for herself. On the flip side of the coin, her fanbase (with few examples, such as the one just mentioned) is extremely dedicated as the superchat numbers prove; this strong emotional attachment leads to people quickly jumping to defend Kiara even in cases where she is clearly in the wrong for they have an extraordinary amount of emotional investment in her well-being despite having no real control over it.
From this, it becomes clear that her fanbase tends to be narrow and the kind of person that identifies more strongly with collective identity rather than individual identity. This latter point is also why so many KFPs considered that SC causing a silent-ish Kiara breakdown to be such a breach of trust and norms: The unwritten norm is to not even criticize Kiara because everyone else identifies with her and her emotional state implicitly. At the same time, however, she strongly leans into the GFE because she deeply cares about her fanbase because not only does this provide her with an identity and measurable progress (numbers), but also because she does not believe to be worthy of any praise due to a deeply-rooted inferiority complex that may possibly stem from prior trauma.
She does not appear to exhibit these aggressive traits in individual one-on-one relationships, as many people with self-esteem issues do, because she does not feel threatened and has much more control in this situation than she does in large groups. What instead takes control is her inferiority complex, which in turn manifests itself in a strong desire to help the other party and be useful to them, which then leads to the other party perceiving an exhibited agreeableness.
This Kiaraphobia follows from observing her interactions with her chat and being unable to follow due to lacking the traits. However, seeing people accept the seemingly obviously inappropriate behavior from Kiara, they lash out against Kiara (incorrectly projected to be as a representative of her own fanbase as the latter is much more abstract) because they do not understand this relationship and cannot follow why anyone would subject themselves to this.
Given Kiara's explosive mix of personality traits and notorious instability, I am honestly curious how she will develop over years. I do not expect her self-esteem to genuinely improve at its core; however, she may well be able to mask it more and learn much further into the GFE without the outbursts.
