Sagume is also pretty strong too but if you are looking for a character to farm events, Toyohime is a must. Her lw is not just strong but its animation is also really short if not the shortest in the game. Sagume's lw is like 7 seconds longer.

Keine is not playable yet but fully functional as an NPC and the devs love using her in every event.
Reisen is mostly useless.
Mokou kills herself with her own spells but she can also work in a stall team by just not using her spells at all because she can heal herself and inflict a damaging status on the enemy.

There is nothing PC-98 in the game right now but it would be easy for the plot to allow the player to meet those 2hus by just going the "teleported into an AU" route for some event. They probably won't do it anytime soon since they would need a few mostly finished characters for an event like that to work.

JP had a few chapters of story at launch and that was it no events no nothing for a good while. They rushed it out the door because of the meme virus yet somehow they were able to survive until now so JP has a pretty good core audiance that's willing to stick with the game.

Level progression was also completely fucked because the only chapter out was chapter 1. You had to go from lvl 50 to lvl 70 when going from Hard to Lunatic with no real good way to grind since regular story missions give very little Exp. It also made the Lunatic Yukari fight super annoying because very few of the initial characters could even deal with her. I remember only having Patchouli to do anything against her because my other characters were just people like Marisa, Sanae or Sakuya.

Early game also had a pretty wierd selection of characters. Of couse you have Reimu and Marisa but then you also lack a ton of popular characters and have people like Medicine, Lily White and Daiyousei.

Fucking hell, right between 30 and 100.

Is the new dark Youmu any good?

She is going to be good for sure but some things about her are kinda wonky. Her spells are full of elemental hits so she can help break shields in the demon tower, her attack is sky high and she can boost it even higher. Her speed buff while boosting feels like a bit of a meme though unless you specifically pair her up with someone like Yorihime. Speed in general is the most pointless stat in the game thanks to spell/last word priority and only matters in any way for the few characters who have the ability to gain more attack based on their speed. Should have been like with Suika instead who can buff everyone's attack when she uses shields. Her passives are pretty meh too. 2 of them are for damage reduction from certain enemy types and the last is the same invincibility at low health that both Marisas can have. Dark Youmu has pretty poor defense though and no recovery options so it's not like she will ever tank much anyway. I have never found a use for that invincibility skill at all because if you are going to make a tanky stall team, you will most likely use characters who can heal themselves anyway and not sit around at below 25% health hoping that some passive will save you.
