There's a lot going on at the end of last thread, feel free to repost those links here so people see them.

Over the last two days, there has been a lot of snowfall on the Sea of Japan coast, which can be seen on many active cams.

also because it wasn't mentioned - with the Yunokami cam moved over to html, here's the steps to get it loaded into a player of your choice. I don't think the OP url will work anymore.

(camera3 is the one you're used to, there's 5 in total and you can edit that number to switch cams)
Not sure how to do long-term recording in VLC because the playlist refreshes itself every few minutes and resets things, but if it has become this effortless I'll probably keep tuned into it actively.

Finally, if someone knows how to fix VLC being unable to pull video titles, please help. I already tried getting the newest youtube.lua from the github page but it can't load certain streams and for the ones it does, they're all called index.m3u8 and this means nothing gets neatly sorted in the output folder.

Flew freaking low over the town and did some acrobatics to show off the performance of the F-16.

There's been a real proliferation of live cams at least in the last 3-4 years I've been here. I think I've been on live Japan cams longer than I've bene in the thread. I post usually only every now and again, try to at least check in weekly. Plenty of people like that too I think.

The bridge cam has been my main go since I discovered it yesterday, it had only been up about 17 hours. It's not 4k though and it says it is 1080 but it sure as hell doesn't look it all blown up on my TV.

stop using vlc bro. also isn't that an issue with the nvidia cards, don't you have to set the range in the nvidia control panel otherwise you get grey blacks in vlc

I found some youtube video that said to set nvidia colors properly, and it did not change a thing for me. I was sad because it looked like such an easy fix. It only starts to mess with the blacks when i hit the record button, like it's compressing the color range.

I had my player pointed to it and automated a lot so it's saddening to see the direct stream being gone.

this was Live Recorder on Firefox. However, there's a bug that it doesn't record the duration properly so 4chan will reject the upload unless you do this first to fix it:

Depends if you're rural. It can look absolutely gorgeous in the right areas. If you live in the city, it's just a bunch of dirty mush to make your car rust to shit and ruin your back twice a week keeping the walk clear so you don't get fined.
