The tab I have open is the Fallout3 uploader that the mod thread on 2ch uses, there doesn't seem to be much there except a bunch of lolicons though.

If you are looking for mods, I would suggest fallout3nexus.com. My favorite mod so far is the tactical weapons mod

Still, that's a fun watch, I think I'll watch it again after I'm done with vol. 16.
Also, while I was watching it, there was a point where you can almost see up skirt Mittsy. It's when they're in the bus at the beginning and the camera had a shot of Mittsy the first time. Oh don't get me wrong, I like Mittsy's spoiled and adorable behavior as much as you do, but I usually find these kinds of things after about 3+ watches of the same video. There's one moment in H!M, with the Ekimae Koban Monogatari skit, Kago felt up Miki. I'm trying to look for the skit and the date now, give me a minute to fetch the show, it's great.

My name is John, and I hate every single one of you. All of you are fat, retarded, no-lifes who spend every second of their day looking at stupid ass pictures. You are everything bad in the world. Honestly, have any of you ever gotten any pussy? I mean, I guess it's fun making fun of people because of your own insecurities, but you all take to a whole new level. This is even worse than jerking off to pictures on facebook.

Don't be a stranger. Just hit me with your best shot. I'm pretty much perfect. I was captain of the football team, and starter on my basketball team. What sports do you play, other than "jack off to naked drawn Japanese people"? I also get straight A's, and have a banging hot girlfriend (She just blew me; Shit was SO cash). You are all faggots who should just kill yourselves. Thanks for listening.

> It's true that whence incorporates the sense of from: a remote village, whence little news reached the wider world. But from whence has been used steadily by reputable writers since the 14th century, most notably in the King James Bible: "I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help" (Psalms). Such a respectable precedent makes it difficult to label the construction as incorrect. Still, it may be observed that whence (like thence) is most often used nowadays to impart an archaic or highly formal tone to a passage, and that this effect is probably better realized if the archaic syntax of the word without from is preserved as well.

Its a good question if you say Ayu is an unbreakable #1, I think there are a few reasons.
First, she is continuing the success from the AX party and wants to grow her grass roots support.
Second, why not invoke a good sense of competition while instilling the importance of the oricon and the value of autographs and photobooks.
Sure it could fail but at the same time she'll learn a lot more about who is in her immediate audience.

I honestly have no idea though besides that.

Also, yes it is universal. If you stay with a family in Japan, they will most likely let you use the shower/bath first. If you empty out the bath water when you leave (or worse yet, do all your cleaning in the bathtub), they will give you a massive WTF look.

I just avoided it altogether and only used the shower outside the bathtub.

Why are Japanese bathing procedures so difficult for westerners to process? It's really not that strange. Cleaning yourself in the bath makes no sense, why would you want to sit and stew in your own filth.

Shower first to clean yourself, then the tub of hot water is for relaxing. It's like a hot tub. Westerners don't seem to have a problem sharing a hot tub with others, but if you make it smaller and put it in a bathroom all the sudden it's gross...

>> No.3093869

>>3093843
No I think that once you get the fact that all the cleaning, shampooing is done outside the tub then it doesn't sound that bad.
I think its just the idea of sitting water that gets people, sure the hot tub will fit many at once but it is boiling hot and kills germs.
Also, maybe there is confusion over how long the tub water will be left unchanged.

That option is completely open for me but thankfully at the time the whole teacher program meltdown occurred and I read many threads from this board helped clear up how xenophobic the experience truly would be.
It's not that I'm not willing to take on these challenges it just makes a less appealing option career wise, I'd rather visit on vacation.
Are you Asian or asian looking? Just curious, and where were you stationed? Sorry for all the questions but I find it interesting to hear about a gaijin idol fan going through that stuff.

When I was there last summer I stayed with the mayor in a city in yamagata prefecture and taught at all of the schools there (elementary through highschool). This is sort of the problem with linlin, she's definitely nothing to hate, and I certainly don't mind her either, but she doesn't have any hardcore wota, and I don't really see any opportunity for any to exist. She's too passive of an idol ;_;

I bought a ton of goods, but I didn't do the wota dances and chants (unfortunately), I was a bit far from the stage.

>What year did you study abroad (by year I mean junior/senior/etc.)

I studied abroad during my third year (junior), and I am in a few weeks going into the 6th year of my undergraduate studies.... I am double majoring in two different types of engineering, in the middle of a co-op program, and I already have a japanese minor though, so I don't mind that it's taking so long to graduate. Studying abroad was essentially a lost year because I didn't take any engineering classes when I was in Japan, but it was definitely worth it.

If you are going to study abroad, I would recommend your junior or senior year. It is so much more enjoyable if you are able to speak to people and able to read (hopefully you take a few japanese classes before going).

Anyways I hope I've helped, and that you will decide to study abroad or teach there soon.

If there is a university I would suggest, it would probably be Waseda. It's in the tokyo area, so there are H!P events all the time, and the university is very prestigious in Japan, although not hard to get into at all if you are studying abroad there. I should have chosen there, but my university has an exchange program with a university in Osaka.

If you want to stay there permanently though, Temple University has an actual campus in Tokyo. It's not a Japanese university but an American university with an overseas campus, so you could continue your major there if you are taking a business or a language major (I have no idea what your major is, sorry). Can't disagree...but LinLin is still fairly new to Momusu. She also joined right as the group went into one of its most awkward times (not exactly an ideal environment for an idol to develop her personality, especially if she didn't even speak the native language when she joined), which is just now starting to look like it may be ending. Hopefully Momusu will keep the upward streak they're on and the girls will have better opportunities to show off and develop their personalities as they get more mainstream exposure.

>She also joined right as the group went into one of its most awkward times
Well lets not breeze over it really, she in part is responsible for some of the awkwardness. The Chinese move didn't exactly win the fans over, the Chinese still steal everything and now the Japanese have an excuse to set up a barrier.
While I really hope you are right about her evolving more now, I hold the highest hopes for Aika to maneuver throug this.

>unprecedented abilities to monitor foreigners
On July 2nd in Shinjuku, a 74-year-old American tourist walked into a koban to ask directions. Inside the koban was an older (senior) police officer and a younger (rookie) police officer. The American asked where Kinokunia Book Store was and the police officer responded by asking the American if he had a pocket knife. The American being the law abiding citizen that he is said “Yes!” and handed it to the senior police officer. After a quick measurement of the knife, the police officer arrested the 74-year-old man for having a pocket knife 1 centimeter over the legal limit.

Anew law about pocket knives had just gone into effect one day before this tourist was arrested. Moreover, two other American tourists were arrested that same day at the same koban.

Ah yes, for some reason I always forget about that whole xenophobia thing when the Pandas are involved. Even more than adding Chinese members to Momusu though, I think the loss of Yossui immediately followed by Miki hit the group really hard. Of course, this is like beating a dead horse with a dead horse. I'll just say that I'm glad things are finally starting to look up a little for the group. Let's hope it stays that way.

Moving on, I just got my copy of G-Television magazine in the mail a week or so ago (had a friend pick it up for me while he was in Japan). Obviously the scans have been floating around for a while, but hot damn is this an awesome photoshoot.

Yeah, you're quite new, it's not so much a Linlin hater, but more of a hate towards a fan who likes Linlin. You're lucky it's not during the day and I'm not in my モームス slang mode, many anons would be pelting you leave.

>>Anyways I hope I've helped, and that you will decide to study abroad or teach there soon.
You say it as if you don't have to be fluent to teach in Japan.

You do of course have to be fluent, right?

It sucks that there are no type of JET-like programs for non-students. I've seen one I'm semi-interested in, it's an intensive Japanese language course in the heart of Tokyo. I am only interested because it would allow me to live in Japan and it would allow me to learn the language exceptionally fast. Also counts towards college credit, but I'm not a student...

So where's the Lin kiss. Is it from the P9D DVD? I've probably seen it in the DVD at least.

Don't.

>You say it as if you don't have to be fluent to teach in Japan.

If you are teaching English, you don't have to be fluent at all. I know some people on JET who know absolutely NO japanese at all (they couldn't even pronounce "konnichiwa" correctly when I met them).

I wasn't on the JET program though, it was just a program that my university specifically has with that prefecture. It certainly helps if you know Japanese so you can converse with other teachers and the students. It's especially essential if you are teaching at an elementary, since no one there will probably speak english, while at a JHS/MS or HS, there will be at least one teacher fluent in english.

Seems weird, but ok. I wonder if I could find a program that does that where you don't have to be a student. I was thinking of applying to the community college near me just to have the opportunity of studying abroad in Japan lol. But I don't want to give up the NEET lifestyle just yet, I don't think. If everything fell into place and I could, I would.

Like I said, I found a program that is an intensive Japanese language course with room and board and it's in the heart of Tokyo. Only thing is it would be basically paying a shit ton of money for something I could do as a student for a lot less. I might do it anyway, though. Live in Japan for 6 months and basically learn the language fairly easily, sounds pretty cool.

>>and there's not a single sign of opportunities to study abroad that I know of.
I've already confirmed that there are options for students to study abroad in Japan at the CC near me I just haven't looked into them individually), I just don't want to go back to school for the most part.

If you've already graduated from college, you can apply for JET right now. The only requirement for JET really is that you have had a college education (of any major).

If you aren't a college grad however, job opportunities in Japan are not so good (unless you want to work in a factory with brazilians)
