Umineko Ep 5 speculation thread.

I believe that the shannon= kannon and the reverse theory will be destroyed.

If you trust that two characters are meeting each other out of Battler's vision, it will mean you don't trust red text and what Battler saw and narrated.
He saw a woman whose face is same as the portrait. And there are no more than 18 people in Rokkenjima.

I think one of the pics for Ep5 had Ronove asking Battler if he had find it interesting to have checked the Master's memories, or something like that. I think Battler will check Beato's past and we'll get to know Beato's true identity, and why there's more than one Beato.

Personally, I think Beato is made by the human Beato, the one created by the rumours in Rokkenjima, the one created by Maria, the game Beato, and perhaps some more. Once you merge them all, you get the Golden Witch that exists in the Meta-World.

I wonder if we'll get to know who Battler really is. There's the bit about the guy from the shipwreck.

Yes. Battler saw Beatrice, who had the same face as the portrait. He understood it BY HER FACE, although her clothes were different from the portrait.
As long as you believe Battler's narration, she have to be an unknown person, not Jessica, Shannon and other women that Battler has already known.
But at the same time, the number of people in Rokkenjima have to be 17 or lower.
It means, you somehow have to reduce the number of people.

Literally “fragment” or “piece”. This word has quite a certain meaning due to the use of it and its direct link with Higurashi no Naku Koro ni.
This word represents the worlds in the “Naku Koro ni” series: the kakera are the “dimensions” or “worlds”, numerous and scattered in an alternative universe, where fate and probabilities can be visualized.
