Long story short, Lambda and Bernie where once Takano and Rika before the end of Kai and the Dice Killer Chapter. This explained the game and similarities between the characters. Also the game was started by Hanyuu's reset buttion which she use to insure the continuation of her family tree that Rika is a part of

There is no evidence that connects Lambdadelta and Bernkastel is from Higurashi. Since Beatrice is actually a set of rules on the chessboard, it can be theorized that both 34 and Trollkastel are themselves concepts personified. Their forms and personalities are based upon what concept they represent, and in their case it's based upon characters from Higurashi.
