These days all Yuka wants to do is enjoy the flowers of Gensokyo, she even likes to visit a flower shop in the human village and leaves the impression of a nice lady (they don't even think she's that strong, she couldn't be... right?).

So Yuka is hella chilled these days. Sometimes someone might do something to excite her and bring back the thrill of the BAD OLD DAYS, but for the most part she's a old youkai and like other old youkai she's pitched out her territory and rests alot.

Yuka is a monster. THEY ARE ALL MONSTERS. Some are just more honest about their nature then others. Times used to be that Yuka was the epitome of youkai-like youkai. She was youkai moe~

Even in current windows Touhou, Yuka is still accepted as a dangerous character to be around, only now she's settled down a bit. She lets the heroes jump to conclusions when she's having a bit of fun in PoFV, her only intention was to bully some people, but at the end of the day she's a youkai and revels in it.

That said, I like how in PoFV she shows the wisdom of her years. She more or less knows whats going on, she leads people on and then casually tells them it's nothing to do with them before going to see the next set of flowers. Nothing really matters, she's had her day, now she's having her fun.

It's why we won't see her much anymore. You gotta provoke a old youkai like Yuka, otherwise she'll sit around and enjoy her flowers.

That said, we don't know exactly how poisonous celestials are, but it seems to suggest they are poisonous to the extent most avoid the fuck out of them.

Irrelevant anyway, it's just a comic and Yuka's power isn't like that. For Yuka it's like a little extra on top of her ridiculous spiritual and physical power.

Suika's a deva though, she has some degree of divinity.

Yuka's a rare combination of power, age, and experience. She's pretty much done it all, seen it all, and been strong enough to not get killed in the process. Anyone who gets more than a monosyllable out of her has probably just had a profound truth of the universe laid at their feet. Whether they can recognize it as such is their problem.
