If it's the Taoism part you're actually interested in, why not try reading the Tao Te Ching outright? It's very short, and has many thorough translations - so you can make your own opinion of it. It has many introspective wisdoms covering passivity, humility and flexibility. Seiga would probably respect a serious attempt to study it for her.
