Isn't Elona 2.0 overall way too generous to the player? Low level dungeons give you godly items, "debris" that are worth a fortune when sold and you get tons of experience for doing nothing.

that list is partly a meme and it's also specifically for endgame potential as pets.

Any pet that isn't an Alkonost, Summoner, or some kind of exploder is going to be good when trained to an endgame level, the list is simply pets that go beyond that.
Also a lot of those pets need to have their stats fully reset at the oblivion palace before they can be effectively trained.

Fairy in general is a bad idea.
Lich and Elea are the best starting classes in general as far as humanoid slots go, Lich having the highest mana pool (mana being the most painful stat to raise), while Elea has decent mana and a couple of handy perks.

Some damage testing regarding elemental enchants on weapons
Living shuriken and panty, both equip updated to stone, and levelled 15 times with magic damage and cold damage respectively.

Suprisingly(?), cold damage doesn't beat pure magic, even when the wet status is in effect, we need element scar for it to pull ahead, which heavily limits its use vs bosses and in general anything you'd actually want more damage for

also of note is that the difference between the cut damage from the shuriken and mind damage from the panty isn't very big
you could even make a case that the confusion from the panty makes it more useful overall
that said, panty vs shuriken is only relevant for living weapons
for artifact fusion, the fact that the cut on a shuriken only takes 200 enchant space, compared to 1200 (I believe) for panties, makes it a no-brainer

Cold damage is still superior tp magic for attribute MA, since you get more enchant power (3000 vs 2000), and it's available at a lower level (750 vs 1000).

The actual "It is alive" is fairly small and shows up towards the middle of the weapon's details.#

They'll also show up in your use menu, even when unidentified. They aren't the only type of artifact to do this, but it's often the most noticeable thing about them.

Monster ball levels are capped to either dungen level they spawn in, or shop rank they spawn in.

So go to lend the taker in the casino in act 2, and jack his shop rank to whatever you want.

Difficulty is divided by attribute x literacy. You can probably handle wish books by 100 of either, maybe with divine knowledge and resolution hand as a boost.

Now, casting them on the other hand.... good luck. Difficulty caps at ~1300 casting skill before it goes down again.

Keeping a magatama in your inventory will prevent fire damage you inflict (other than molotovs and fire walls) from starting fires and burning things. This is assuming ElonaPlus.

As for ball spells, magic is overall best for raw damage, but fire and cold can hit hard if oil or wet respectively is applied along with Element Scar. Chaos is best for crowd control, but Raging Roar will apply confusion and fuck over enemy spellcasting.

I maintain beautify, but I didn't make it. It's just been piled on from various sources by anons over time, sprites included. You can find the sprites in beautify at their sources sometimes if you look for them.

Seems this is just a poorly done sprite. For some reason it has aliasing? That's why it has those bits on it. You'd have to redo the sprite's edges completely.

Does anyone know how to manually create saves?
My game hasn't been saving properly (probably some fucking Windows 10 permission nightmare) and I've been losing lots of files without warning. When I look in my Save folder for E+C-G, there's nothing but Bone and Null, and writing my my own files doesn't seem to work as the game won't export character sheets.
Does anyone know of a way to get files I can actually keep?

I tried looking into what it would take, but there are 30k diffs between decompiled plus 1.90 and 2.01, and 80k between custom-g 1.90 and decompiled plus 1.90. The decompiled source is missing a shitton of ids and the label numbers get scrambled between 1.90 and 2.01. The guys who made these mods had a hell of a task.

He might have been talking about all the changes to the source to make it human readable, which definitely helps. I think its still basically necessary to automate descrambling inconsequential changes caused by decompilation though. With those gone, it would come down to manually reviewing and merging the remaining 1.90->2.01 diffs into the 1.90 custom g source and adding anything that is missing in english.
