I liked it, but after watching it 10 times (seriously, 10 times, that's how bored I am), this 'mixed feelings' or whatever got to me, like that anon said. Going from ballad to high tempo, than serious than high tempo, but it was fun none the less. MCs were great, that od-radio blogger had summaries for that concert somewhere in her blog.
I keep an open view on all the members, slightly disappointed on Linlin's solo moment, it was strong, but there were better moments from other fan-recs and that fan-vid. Everyone else pretty much stayed in the same spot for me, not gonna get into detail, too boring, it's pretty much going to be the same as my list there.

I don't know how things normally go there...but if the convention operates every year as Momusu's stuff did this year, I don't know how AX manages to get any of the guests it does. Talking to the ppl I met at AX, it seems the convention really varies year-to-year: there was the Hirano Aya debacle (screwed up her concert so much she cancelled her autograph sessions and left in tears) and the Halko Momoi rebuke (swore to never return on her blog) in '07, and then in '08 David Hayter leaves 400 ppl happy with autographs.

At the risk of sounding like a broken record (I've posted about this about a month ago) I'm suspecting a revolving-door executive. One guy in particular said this year's execs were so new and so bad that the veteran volunteers stayed away and didn't help out.

Just wanted to say that I definitely consider myself lucky to get the autographs and be able to at least say 'hi' and 'thanks' to each of the girls...even being able to attend the convention at all was better than I could have imagined. I may bitch about how the convention was handled, but even with all the stupidity it was the greatest week of my life.

Honestly, that didn't really bother me. I went into the convention expecting to wait in lines and whatnot...that's what you do at conventions. Plus, I'm cool waiting in line however long it takes if it's Momusu. What was aggravating for me was how clearly upset the girls were during the third autograph session.

Just like Avex has been doing for god knows how long. Which is fine with me.
Let's just hope that she leaves the guests lying in some ditch somewhere when that time for a proper solo record comes around (which I'm betting she/they will).

And the Avex formula I've been jocking is the extreme distancing from H!P, MM and Idoldom combined with their gameplan of a promo tour with a videoblog that was steadily running, and at the same time releasing singles, sometimes for free, just to get the hype up. And playing these singles on her daily radioshow that's aired on I think is the most popular radiostation in all of Japan.
It did land her a couple of top-10 tracks IIRC.
