Sometimes when a mosquito finds its way into my room on a warm night, like tonight, I deliberately take off my shirt, hold still without moving a muscle and patiently wait for it to bite me. I then close my eyes and proceed to imagine that it's Remilia sinking her little fangs into my skin and satisfy her appetite by sucking my blood. The feeling lasts for a mere few seconds, but during that time I'm happy that I can please my mistress.

I've only heard that it's possible to do.
When I was younger I tried to do that at one point. The mosquito landed on my arm, I flexed it, but it seems that it didn't work since it just flew away after a while.

I was curious enough to do some research about it and apparently they can get their stinger stuck in a flexed skin, but the mosquito has to be correctly placed for muscle tension to work. You can also try to pinch the skin where the skeeter is sucking to trap him.

As cool as the story about an exploding insect may sound, it's only half true. With increased blood flow they only suffocate and die. Still, it sounds nice and kind of ironic.
Supposedly, when the connection between their stretch receptors and brain is cut, mosquitoes would feed until they burst.

So, on a related note. Will a vampire have a hard time pulling its teeth out if you flex your neck?

Very unlikely. Given the shape of fangs, the surface of the skin is the widest part of the bite, and it should be fairly simple for them to pull out after a meal.
