The Hello! Project Concert I attended was in 2004, so it was pretty much still at its height, with tons of great songs and Berryz being the fresh new face. Most of the people attending the concert were middle aged men who wore casual t-shirts and if there was a girl she would also happen to be middle aged. I saw only 5 girls in total during the large performance at Yoyogi Hall or whatever the hell it was called and one of them was a tiny girl with her parents. I think they are such a great compliment to their characters. I mean I think you are right in putting the music ahead of the merchandising aspect but photobooks have become such a standard in Japan.

I'm island fag, only a few anons probably know about some of my details, I said some 20~30 threads ago, I have a limited amount to download through my internet provider. Because I'm on a island, we don't really have much to go by, and everything we have is more expensive than other places. Anyway, we have a set limit to download/upload things, and if I go above that, there's going to be service charges put onto my bill. What sucks more is that downloading and uploading count as the same thing (pretty sure it's the same everywhere else), so when I'm running my torrent all night, I'm destroying my internet bill.
So, I envy nearly everyone in the internet, if they download any faster than 150kb/s, my heart sinks a little (fastest we have is 90kb/s).

Drinking 2 shots of whiskey to take away my internet woes, and also I hand a nice amount of alcools, I'm so happy.

I went to Hawaii once. I felt freaking closed in and trapped after a week. After I took the highway, and found out that it pretty much ended up at the same point it started at.... I mind was blown and I wanted to get the FUCK off that island.

Oi, I'm not complaining too crazy about Kei, but she made tons of Utaban eps fucking amazing, there were even some where she wasn't in and the whole shoe went crazy.
Anyway, Tsuji's nice, she made "Tsuji Nozomi's Surprise Dance Lesson", great stuff, Ayaka got her forehead bumped by Tsuji's ass lol. And Konkon's just great, one of the most adorable things to pop out of H!P, ever. Though she may have gotten sick of people calling her 'cute' because of her soft voice or pacifist personality, which may be why she got thinner and sucked all the fat out of her cheeks.
I noticed though, Konkon seems to really like Ayaka (back in the day), she said she hated English and English classes, but she always seemed to always like having Ayaka around.

Oooh, maybe we can talk about some Surprise English Lesson shit, there's a site where it shows all the eps, and a section for each member that was on the show.

I grew up here, I went to other places and lived elsewhere, I'm familiar with both city and empty towns, so I don't get the same feeling as you do.
