I've played Saya no Uta, Higurashi no naku koro ni, and Yume Nikki. I really feel that my horror Doujin and Visual Novel game collection is a little weak. Are there any other great, and scary VNs or /jp/ related games out there?

I've heard of Gore Screaming Show on the VN front, but I'm sure there's some scary games out there that are scary for more than the fact they contain lots of brutal rape or some such, right?

Thanks. I kind of want to wait until Umineko is done in its entirety before I get into it though, it makes it easier to play through the entire thing.

You're not even supposed to powerrun through the 4 EPs already out! You're supposed to read 1 EP, make a working theory, then read the next.

It's a goddamn mystery, not a slice-of-life.
