Is there anywhere I can go do get direct downloads of either Ever17 or Family Project? I'm sitting on 2+ gig torrents for each right now dl'ing at 28kb/s :(

Try the user upload section of Fakku's forum. Careful: The megaupload links for Ever17 (custom installer version) seem to be corrupt. Try the novaup ones (untested!).
There is another version posted there but I am currently trying t get the custom installer one.
