Would you purchase a 1200 dollar pair of augmented reality glasses primarily to go on dates and spend time with your favorite Touhou girl?

Efforts are being made to bring something to that effect with lower quality MMD models and real time adaptation of camera observational conditions applied to characters and their models.

This. I'd spend $1200 if, and only if, spending $1200 meant nothing. Not as a splurge, not as a self-gift, not as an investment. I'd have to be able to drop $1200 on some gatcha at least seasonally to consider spending that much on some pair of dennou coil goggles and not even a full interactive suit. But if I could, I would, but I still wouldn't use it to date Touhous.
