Personally I think it's important to learn generic drawing fundamentals, such as perspective, shapes, deformations and so on. but you should also have a collection of art from artist you like. After that do what the video describes. First break down the drawing into simple shapes by drawing over it. Study how those shapes connect. You will see there's a pattern for how the head connects to the neck, where the ears go, where the eyes go and so on.

After that, do your best to draw the same thing on the side. Compare the one you drew over the image and see where you went wrong. Do you make the head too big? Are your eyes too high or too low on average? Where do you lack in proportions, can you make guidelines tt always find the correct points? Complete many cycles of that, then try to draw something of your own by using multiple references. Art is a lot about remixing.

Yeah, she got a lot of help from her friends.
Yet, isn't that, what the picks in this Gen are all about? Ame helped the other girls with technical stuff early on. Mori does animation and mixing for upcoming songs and covers,
Ina draws cute art for the other four and Kiara helped out in the K-San collab and the Gen5 x EN collab. She will continue to do so for the foreseeable future.
They all have their purpose and do what they can to help their genmates succeed.
I don't know how you could deny each ones worth at this point.
