Sometimes you read things and can't help but think of this place.
For all those people who want to become the little girl, would you try to fight and keep your ego as a young man or give in and have your prior identity fade away?
Source is Ichinensei ni Nacchattara, about a high school boy who 'dies' saving a little girl from a traffic accident. A female lolicon scientist sees his act and saves his life but turns him into a little girl because that is all she had the material left for. Hijinks ensue.

I feel like I need to catch up on this manga but it's pretty boring.

That manga seems interesting.

And I would try to be the little girl, even though it would be hard.

This comic reminds me of the ryofuko-chan anime, and as such I won't be reading it.

I don't think my personality would change in the least, or at worst I might act like in the anime mentioned above.

That was a good read. Here's my fun take on it.

I think there's a strong possibility Iori (17m) and Iori (7f) are different people. You'd have to explain a few things though, like the posterior mark, knowledge, how Yume treats him, and her familiarity with the real Iori's life.

To explain the posterier mark, although the bath scene was a joke perhaps that is a true memory? Perhaps the real Iori saved a fake Iori one day in a snowstorm and she developed a mental complex over it. As odd as it sounds the evidence of a mark being there at all supports this fact. It's a new body so he/she would have had to reapply the mark for it to be back.

To explain the intelligence, Iori's(7f) "fictional" parents are both Scientists. It's believable a manga would use this as proof the child would also be smart.

>> No.2985095

To explain the living conditions and Yume(the weird scientist lady), Sometimes parents humor their children when their children pretend to be something else. Children acting out roles and pretending to be other things is nothing new. By extension someone temporarily taking care of a kid wouldn't really care enough to challenge a child playing out a role. This is supported by the fact that Yume still treats Iori like a kid, Saying she shouldn't be reading difficult things or making Iori go to bed on time, the author makes a strong point to point out Iori is confused by this treatment.

To explain the intimate knowledge of Iori(17m)'s life, Iori(7f) lives with Iori(17m)'s target of affection and has contact with his sister. While forming this complex it wouldn't be impossible for her to absorb information like this vicariously, even more so if the fake memory from the bath house was real then Iori(7f) would have had contact earlier in her life.

This leaves only the actual surgery scene as a problem, of course this can always be explained as a dishonest narrator. There was no one we can trust to actually give us that story besides the person with a complex that could be distorting it.

Lots of supportin facts too
-No one talks about male Iori being missing. No one talks about the accident being fatal or Iori still being hosptialized. You would think this would be a big deal. Rin (girl who was saved) acts as if he's fine and is going to save a kiss for him. She's also the only first hand account we have of the accident. The sister doesn't seem to care in the least.
-Ero mag does nothing for young Iori
-When the young Iori is kissed she says her heart is racing.
-Often young Iori's actions, expressions, and attitudes slip into age appropriateness.
-We aren't given an older Iori to compare with the younger one, all we get are possibly fake reflections by the younger one.
-We're given the guise of Iori having to learn things anew because of a gender swap when it's possible she/he is learning them for the first time.

I always thought that it was just bad writing on the author's part. Of what I read, Iori's sister did have one chapter dedicated to her missing her brother, but it doesn't really come up. It's swept to the wayside in favor of loli butts, and that doesn't really make for a good story, especially since a lot of the humor is very weak. The OP image doesn't look like the plot is going to get interesting (i.e. exist), though

I'd think it would be neat to have 7 year-old Irori go out of her way to find out what's going on with her family at her old would be awesome (Unless It did already and I just missed it due to dropping it). Any character development for Yume would be nice, the female super-pedo shtick is old.

>> No.2985510

>>2985415

It could be bad writing, or it could end up to be super fuck win writing. Iori meeting with Iori would be one of the largest mindfucks ever.

Too bad it's not going to happen though, still there being enough evidence for Irori's brain to melt down to the point he isn't sure himself anymore is pretty win.

It's been like that for the longest time. You new here, son? I take it you've not been an audience to the lengthy dissertations on the pros and cons of Gensokyo VS. Grimsokyo and Slutsokyo.

>> No.2986001

Is there any good fiction/game/comic/anything that uses this concept? Most gender bender fiction tend to be meh to absolute shit, the only good one I could find was Ranma, and that's ancient.

Somebody HAS to have made a decent "Guy turns to little girl" story somewhere.

That's actually a wonderful theory you have there. Reading through the whole thing, I kept wondering why no one cared the dead male Iori. It's like he disappeared from the world and everyone seem to forget about him except for a certain few unless he is, of course, alive and still going to school. Could it be possible that Yume prematurally assumed that he died, made the body with his small extracts of his memory and called it a day? Rather than being a boy turns into girl story, it's a boy has a girl copy roaming around story.

Of course, this is mostly likely a loli fanservice manga, but I like it regardless. Oh well, one can dream.

>> No.2987812

It's nice to dream but you know that the next volume is just going to go back to loli jokes. Sorry, no personal identity despair manga.
