I just started Shoot the Bullet a few days ago. It's my favorite already, and I'm only on stage 6. I played 5-1 about 6,000 times because her damn bullets fall down so agonizingly slowly, making a minefield for you to weave through while she chases you around with her hyper colorful kick.

Thinking about it, I'd say the stages are more like:

"Okay, this is easy enough, wheee fun times shootan"
"Oh, shit, it's getting kinda hard now, gotta pay attention"
"Oh shit oh shit oh shit this is fucking hard now AAAAAAAAA"
"AW, BULLSHIT, FUCK YOU"

I've got thousands of attempts on a bunch of the ones in levels 9 and 10 and a few of the EX. I don't even have 6000 on 9-6, and I've gone through all the stages multiple times.

5-5 is much harder than 5-1.
I'm currently at 10-4. I could kill myself. Not because it's so hard, but because I got to the last photo and that one is EASY (the 2 in the middle are veeery difficult). (I died there)

Don't spend hours on the same level if you can't get it. After 30 minutes you tend to be as good as you're gonna get on this challenge today. Rest for a day and it will be easier.

Theory: Shoot the Bullet shows your true Touhou powerlevel.

On the spells where China chases you around (which is most of them) just start in one corner, and slowly move around the edge of the screen, always just a bit beyond the reach of her attack. Use the breaks between attacks to snap a picture (or, if you're going for score, snap it mid-kick for a tasty upskirt)

I had to retry one of Keine's spellcards 114 times until I finally cleared the stage, damn lasers kept getting in the way.

I'm at level 7 and I'm pretty much about to give up. Someone tell me which are the easiest scenes in this level and some good strategies for them.

I found level 7 maybe the most fun. It's mostly precision dodging rather than learning patterns.

8 is probably the easiest. Just straightforward dodging, and taking photos from some distance away makes the later stages much easier. 1 is easily the hardest

I just checked the ex stages with a clear savedata. I'm pretty sure I can never manage to get anywhere near that.

There are two ways
1. make a photo of her while she tries to move away manually.
2. aim at her and than quickly aim at her time haxed position

1. is for more points.

Sakuya is difficult, Remilia is much to easy. mhm

When i take a shot, the actual shot shown in the left is shifted, aka the all i got is some background with a few shot in it in the place of a boss shot. Any idea how i can fix that (i have a 16:10 screen if it can help).

Does anyone have the "help" section translated in english? The touhou wiki doesnt hold many informations on Shoot the bullet.
