Huh? Ar Tonelico in my /jp/? What coincident as I have been lately playing Ar tonelico 2, and it's been awesome. After this need to get my hands on the first game somewhere. To my understanding Mir = Jaqli and shes also in first game?

As for favorite VN heroine... can't realy decide as there are so many, but I say latest which are Cloche and Mir/Jaqli, both being great characters and for my tastes.

PS. Gotta love the musics, especially all those hymmns which are beatifull

Yeah, she's the main "bad guy" from the first game. Not much of a spoiler though!

I enjoy how they did that though. I can only name a few JRPGs (out of the billion made) where a character like Mir happens. So I guess it deserves some points for that.

Second one had a half assed dual audio with a lot of voice scenes becoming unvoiced because they didn't switch to DVD9.

IMO same as the second: nice characters, great music, and mid-tier everything else. The battles in AT1 sorta get annoying though; I remember running away a lot. I did like how AT1 was 100% 2D as well!

I'm not sure if this really counts as my favorite heroine since funnily enough, I preferred her in the game where she doesn't get to be a heroine.

I didn't really like how she got portrayed in the game where she gets to be a heroine, I still liked her though. Her character only got messed with a tiny bit, nowhere near as bad as some of the other characters.
