It won't help you besides getting you on prescription drugs, and they are horrible. I once saw a fag I knew from when I was still a teen from where I lived. We and others saw each other because we lived there, and he was one of those drugs addict raised without parents but by his grandmother because father died and mother was a heartless slut.
All he did all day was on the move to gather his stuff while working shitty low paid jobs. Then I haven't seen him for years but this one moment and he was changed 180%. Dressed like a normalfag with signal colors as shirt, his speech and behaviour were very strange if you knew him and he even had a girlfriend he said. He seemed like a real zombie, like mind-controlled and he told me he was seeing help because he lost control over his life regarding to his drug addiction.

No way I would ever take those pills.

Psychiatrists generally don't understand anything. The broad spectrum of human disorder is really something they just pulled out of their asses.

The real question here is what you want out of this. Do you want to be "Normal" like everyone else? Is this misunderstanding yourself etc... causing you distress?

They can teach you ways to change your behavior, or drug you so that many of these behaviors go away. Is that what you want?

I saw 4 different therapists these last 6 years, each one of them diagnosed me with a different syndrome/disorder. And obviously they were all saying shit about my previous ones.
Psychoanalysts/psychiatrists/psychotherapists/whatever are expensive, useless, and simply don't give a fuck about you. All they do is making you doubt of yourself and generally feel bad. I for one am really glad I quit.

I won't go so far as to say psychiatrics is a scam, only that it's a science in it's alchemical stages. Many of the descriptions of disorders are pretty valid, in that they describe common problems, but nobody knows if they reside in the meat of the brain (it's electo-chemical function) or in it's ghost (logic/emotional content) etc...

Their aims seem a little off too, because nobody can agree what the actual aim of psychiatry should be. Should we be treating people who step outside of a narrowly defined range of "normal" or only treating people who seek help themselves? Psychiatry has no consistent answers.
