Why do Magical girls always solve their differences with violence?

Why do Magical girls always solve their differences with BEFRIENDINGS?

>> No.2952158

Magical girls might not speak the same language. Violence is a universal language. Everyone understands it. So it is the best and fastest way to solve differences. No dictionaries needed.

No, that's just Nanoha, most magic girls prefer and occasionally succeed in talking out the problem after some unfortunate clashes are tried by the enemy.

Nanoha on the other hand quickly came to realise the fastest way to talk to her opponent is to beat them into submission THEN talk.

I recall the Sailor Senshi just started cracking skulls out of nowhere if the enemy didn't look human...

Touhous are a violent bunch. Remiu doesn't talk it out before she starts shooting. Even if she talks her conversations usually are "Are you doing this? No? I don't believe you, I guess I'll just have to beat the truth out of you!"

Though to be fair, I can't remember how many times Sakura, the magic girl Nanoha seems to parody to start out with, solved her problem of the week by just working it out without having to kind of fight.

Nanoha more or less just blasts the problem, but still has those 'lets be friends, lets understand one another' feelings. She just has NO PROBLEM with having to beat people down first, even coming to enjoy the thrill of the competition.

Truly, Nanoha is the best magical girl.

I've never really considered Touhou characters to really fit under the whole 'magic girl' tab, Nanoha at least (for the first two seasons) gives a nod to the genre she's blasting to all hell, Touhou is like a thing of it's own.

The outer senshi were more violent and less prone to negotiation than the inner senshi. I mean who the fuck is going to argue with a glaive?

The Mai-Hime girls tried to talk it out....but then they got manipulated and settled for fists.

One thing to remember though is that despite her reputation she never starts shit with anybody.

I remembered Sailor Moon refusing to fight and talking her ass off for like 10 episodes in the SM Stars finale.

Nanoha is certainly an improvement to the Mahou Shoujo genre.

The odd thing about Nanoha these days is how they made some clear efforts to distance Nanoha away from the fans perception of the 'White Devil' in the latest series by extensively explaining how it's all non-lethal and done with love (in training) or that she simply has a almost demonic sense of duty towards the end... but then you get little gems like this picture from the manga that just scream WHITE DEVIL.

Yeah, 'friendly' exhibition match.

Fate wouldn't have fallen in love with Nanoha if she hadn't been beaten to near death. It reminds her of her mother.

I hear role-play is a good way of working out her past. How better to understand her mother then to recreate those scenarios and deal with them head on from a different perspective?
