Why are they called Idols? I mean who the fuck would like a life like that? I cant imagine they can be someones idol, a superhero can be your idol or a guy that loves his family and has a good job or race-car driver or someone like that. Someone that does something magnificent or astounding that others cant. Girls that sing below average and have shitty dance routines cant be any ones idol since theres nothing to be make you go "Oh, I want to be like that when I grow up!"

Why are they called Idols when only otaku swarm to them? They can hardly be an idol for a 25+ year old hikikomori virgin.

On that note real life idols, I mean how can a 12-13 year old girl/boy that stands there in erotic poses be someones idol?

Just what is wrong with the Japanese people? Answer me, people on the board about Japan.
