If loading a page takes two seconds, you're still spending a minute waiting for the loading, most sites I've seen have those godawful flashing ads down below, and some even have noise.

At any rate, I was more talking about the Anime portion of the argument. For manga it's definitely just more a matter of preference.

However, 2 seconds is a lot less noticeable than even as short a period as a minute. I'd rather get started immediately and wait a second between pages. It's also more convenient if you're trying to read something long from the beginning because downloading each chapter individually is a pain in the ass and downloading the whole thing as a batch means waiting.

I tend to grab stuff in groups, so by the time I'm done grabbing everything I was looking for the first download is done anyway.

Though if I've got a full series to read I'll normally grab a torrent or Mirc and then start reading it online somewhere while I wait for it to catch up.
