Ah Gadget Trials, I guess I ended up forgetting about that game. fun but I really didn't like how health didn't affect damage.

Why do I know what the AT bar is but not what the battle window looks like anymore? anyway... the AT[Active Time] bar is like a time bar, the lower it is the faster that unit will get its turn.

Also, does getting attacked help raise the time bar ? I noticed that every time I did The AT bar went up.

Getting attacked raises the AT bar and therefore delays the turn of said unit, I forget if both the one attacking and the one being attacked gets the AT raise though.

I don't know what the stars are there for but I'd have to guess that they get a attack and defense bonus for being a veteran, wouldn't really make sense having them there for no reason.

Once you get 4 or 5 kills you get a 'level up' where you have a little increased damage/speed/health/defense. Generally your bombers will all be max health along with a tank or two and the rest of your units will barely be used, most likely just cannon fodder or to capture buildings.

Also this game is awesome, been a while since I've played it though. It's nice to see at least some interest in it.

Is there any "secret" in this game ? I almost got all the costumes(most of them aren't really worth it,IMO) and this is only stage 5..does the game go on for much longer ?

Bombers are good, but enemies usually have fighters to take them down.

I also notice that after a while the enemies stopped producing air units, and just pumped out infantries(which of course, become the nice kill scores for my units)

i'm so terrible at tactics games, i got destroyed in like the 2nd level. the enemy kept producing tanks and I didnt know how to stop it. maybe i had to step into one of their cities or something? Also i didnt know there were bombers.

Yuri is good if you manage to set her up at a chokepoint or for defending but it's like snipers, one is always good to have but two is pushing it and three is useless.

Nei is awesome in her panzer armor, if I remember right you can almost one shot a enemy tank instead of just 50ish damage.

You have to place your infantries unit(Izen) on their factory tile to capture it. And in stage 2 you have to basically hold out until you can spam your tanks, all the while capturing the cities.

There are some important buildings in this game
-command center- you take over this, you win.
-cities- help giving you money
-factories- produce new units

Also, in every buildings you capture you can send units in for repair and refuel. Placing units on enemies' factories (not necessary Izen) will hold their production.

You move a lot slower, sure, but it's great simply because you can effectively 1 shot most units and still take quite a beating, add in some building or medic regen and you got yourself a powerhouse.

i didn't use it either. it's just too slow. infantry units are stupidly good though.

You probably already know this, but it's best to have your units in zigzag formation. If I remember correctly, the enemy can't move pass you and you can easily gang on them when they attack you. Also, helicopters make extremely cheap walls. You can use them to fence your enemy in. I remember there was this one map where you could easily hold off the enemy for the entire game simply by placing a helicopter on the coastal city.

I used that armor first, and ended up regretting it, because as said it makes her so slow, and she becomes useless (in favor of bombers) even faster. Later I went with the one that gives faster turns and it makes her so much more useful as she can sometimes get 2 turns in before an enemy unit (plus letting her advance much more rapidly and keep up with the air units)

Is there still a working torrent for this? So far everything I found was either unseeded or completely dead.

It all depends on how you play I guess. Sure you're advancing faster but you're dealing out less damage and effectively taking more hits in return so your spending more turns and money churning out tanks.

yuri is awesome, you just need to keep a tank in front of her loli-rawkets. Two AA forms will keep any air unit away from your advancing troops (provided they stay close enough to attack if the enemy aircraft gets close to the other) because the computer won't attack you usually if it'll be shot down before its next turn.

Izen was more useful as a medic for me, making everyone's turns faster. Most useless is liquid-Rei, I don't care what anyone else says.
