Zen meditation is japanese, thus on-topic.

I can't stop thinking negatively, all I do is think of my terrible past, and how much I hate everything and everyone.

Can meditation help me stop this evil cycle? Has anyone here any experience in what I am going thorugh, and if yes. How did you cope with it?

If I remember correctly from the Buddhism courses, I took; you should not meditate when you're angry or depressed.
It will only make you RAGE and BAWW more.

Soul searching is the answer.

No interaction, no conversation, just you and your thoughts. Play them all out, see where things need to be changed. Strip away your overvalued opinion of yourself that you've build up in defense of those tiny people around you always sticking you with arrows, and actually SEE yourself. your problems will fade.

Take out your anger on something or talk to someone.
Then meditate.

Not that I know of. Just my personal philosophy.

There are well-studied long term benefits of meditation on mood, and it would be especially good in reducing your anger.

However, attempting it while you're upset may exacerbate your obsessive, self-depreciating ideation.

It sounds like you have a lot of problems, so you might want to see a doctor.

Exercise also works. Ask /fit/.

just stop it focus on the eternity of now of this moment and how only it exists nothing else does or has or will live for the moment it is our past that shapes us but our actions that make us.
