Traveling alone to japan, good idea or bad idea?

Very much a bad idea.

As a non-Japanese, you will have a much higher chance of being a victim of a crime. As a foreigner you can also expect the police to be less than willing to help you. Don't expect a whole lot of help from random people either.

Also, I would take their crime statistics with a grain of salt. The officials I met when I was over there were more than willing to fudge numbers to make things look better.

I'd say it's an okay idea. I moved to Japan alone, have travelled across the country alone. But I speak Japanese so it's a bit different I guess. I'm also female. I think that also makes a bit of a difference.

My only advice: stay away from the niggers.
