RN does have some minor script changes (even minus the H scenes) from the original F/SN release. I've never read the original F/SN script in Japanese, but from my memory the RN script is almost exactly the same. The biggest change is HF stuff of course. No penis worms and some dialogue about all that is different (can't talk about rape in console games and so on). It's pretty minor changes in the grand scheme of things. Mostly all just age-related.

No need to worry though. You can just enable H in the Ultimate Edition and use the default "mixed" script and it should be the 18+ version of the game.

Serious question: Why is the Type Moon fanbase so fucking useless? I've genuinely seen MUCH smaller fanbases translate every piece of media available. With Type Moon, many of the big pieces aren't touched, a lot of of manga is left untranslated, Light Novels, CCC STILL. The only translation of Fate Stay is a rocky translation by an ESL, and Ataraxia was held hostage. it's actually kind of incredible, really.

I've recently started playing Tsukihime (so I apologize for not knowing all the names yet because I tried my best to avoid possible spoilers) and I am stuck with something. Since I am attempting the arc route for my first reading I'm not sure whether to listen to Akiha and stay at the mansion after falling unconscious at the clearing in the garden or still meeting up with Arc regardless. I picked the option of meeting with Arc but after checking up on the files about routes I've noticed that I maybe should have listened to Akiha. That wouldn't be a problem usually and I'd just reload the last save before the choice but is there any significant impact of the choice I made? The style of drawing elevates and makes the whole thing work. Look at her, ignoring the obvious moments of action when she is extremely serious, even when she has calmed down after a battle she just looks... unnerving, weird. Those very white eyes with snake-like pupils makes her look permanently dangerous and inhuman, specially when coupled with her poses and manners, but you can even see it in such a harmless pannel as pic related

I've finished reading Tsukihime (well one route at least) and I have two questions. After finishing the Arc route I got her True ending and the Ciel lesson said that if I go back in the story a bit and readvance I'll get the good ending. How far do I have to go back exactly and do I have to keep an eye on choices that increase the regard I've seen in the chart (I tried my best with that and I think I just missed one or two, then again there aren't many choices like that either)? The second question is regarding the sequels. Can I move on to Kagetsu Tohya with playing through only one route or is it best to go through all of the routes/both two main routes? Worried I'd miss anything important lore wise and characterization but also I am eager with continuing the story. Yeah playing video in wine is tough. You could attempt to install windows media player somehow (it's not straightfoward I forgot how) or maybe just try removing the video file completely when you get that part and seeing if it works.

I think I had to use this when I first played it under Linux.
There could also be a bug when reaching the first hanafuda scene for later reference, iirc I solved it by uninstalling/disabling the hanafuda patch (which you can reinstall once you're past that scene and want to play the full minigame).
