Why can't I hit Liches and Master liches well ? Looking at their stats they don't have great dexterity or Evasion. I have about 180% accuracy and don't have a problem hitting most other mobs except the obvious dodgy ones like fairies and quicklings

I've found I needed at the very least 40 (that includes boosting equipment, so 34+6 from a feather hat for example) to clear them while also using Ensemble with the little girl.
Talking about 4$ difficulty quests in Palmia, other towns may have easier ones.

Also it's important to play to the right crowd, some NPCs (beggars and such) barely give any points. You can also sometimes fail them if some named NPC gets drunk and kills all your audience, but there's not much you can do about that

The rare loot trigger only goes away if you load (emphasis on load) twice in the latest ten minutes.

What this means is you can savescum once every ten minutes instead of not at all.

I've never played runescape, but it isn't multiplayer. It does have a fuckton of skills which I think is a runescape thing. There's a ton of cool stuff you can do in it but it's kinda hard to figure out in the early stages. I can't really give an in depth enough description here but you can be a snail pianist and eat engagement rings

1. Give that poor thing a Move command, it's cruel to cripple pets like that. (You might want to have two; one to get close to you to Cheer, one to hunt down enemies. You could make it conditional based on whether you have a buff from Cheer.)
2. Are there any enemies near you? A pet's combat AI only kicks in when an enemy is in sight, otherwise they just follow you around.
3. Try toggling the Cheer command's "preserve entity as target" line. I'm not sure which setting would be right or if it even affects anything at all, but it can't hurt.

Some static artifacts have resists, otherwise just explore dungeons and invest in a few blacksmiths to see better gear. You can get a coldproof and fireproof blanket to protect your items while you don't have maxed resists. Eatng the corpses of certain mobs also boosts your resists. I believe E+CG has more of it translated, and the starting grind is pretty easy in E+, you can easily hang around North Tyris having fun exploring the possibilities of the game without grinding.

The UI is very good, but make sure to change your resolution, the base one is tiny and can get hard on the eyes.

It's more that in this game the window size is tied to the resolution, so the default window is tiny. Upping the resolution (keeping the same aspect ratio) fixes it partially.

Potential is a straight multiplier applied to the xp gained in that skill/attribute. For example, if you have 200% potential in firearms, all firearm xp gained is multiplied by 2.

You lose some potential everytime you gain a level in the relevant skill/attribute, and can gain it back through various means.

Is it worth moving past custom now? I still have the old custom g build but I see some new stuff that looks pretty cool.

I think I just broke my game. I tried to use the house board, the one which changes your home tile. So I used it once, and it changed my tile to white p1 tile (1), and I hated that so I tried to get it back by using the 32 tile which I assumed was the default (I was going to use each one till I hit the original one, and range was written to 32) and I got river tile, and now I can't enter my home tile. I tried both fixmap and reloadmap, but neither did anything :(

Dying of thirst is normal because G doesn't have thirst, so it starts at 0. Otherwise there shouldn't be any difference between importing a Plus save and a Custom or Custom-G save.

From what I remembered, I only ever needed to unzip one .rar to get a game rolling. That said, I found out the issue was due to me unzipping the .rar into a folder on my desktop instead of a folder within my downloads folder, THEN moving that to the desktop. Extracting to the desktop folder was leaving out like 800 or so files that the download folder extraction didn't even touch, and I wasn't getting a notification from winrar or my antivirus (usually i get a "permission denied" type error if extracted files are left out)

Investing isn't a trade in the sense it makes you money, you're giving money to shops so they can stock better items, and levelling it reduces the amount you have to give.
As the other guy said, it's very good CHR training, the first time you Invest50 you'll probably gain multiple levels of charisma off it.
Only do the 50-at-a-time option, it's a lot more efficient.

I redownloaded like 2 days ago and honestly I went with the latest translated over G after looking at the changelog to see what I'd miss out on. Its quite a lot. Shop mechanics, nefia mechanics, tons of special acts, how analyze works, etc

But, you can just copy the season crops tables and put a,b,c,etc in front of them.

You can't select the seasons, only the crops within the season. As well, once a crop has decided what it'll be, there's no take-backs.

The stat-specific herbs like morgia/spense/etc should all have the same %. Back in 1.90 and before they were much rarer than stomafilla/curraria. But in newer versions you'll have more total rare herbs than stomafillas. Though, I think for each specific herb the stat-specialized ones are still rarer.

There's always rng though, so results may vary. Ether way, you can pick whatever herb you want now, so choose your favorites.
