GGs. That's enough. Don't mash if you're going to try to LA. Also, be careful of LAing jump-ins with Nanaya because if their feet aren't low enough, you'll just whiff. I don't really have any good Nanaya advice since I hate playing him. He's all about off-tempo strings and quick dashes in to make the pressure endless though.

Yeah, I know. I dropped playing him for a while but recently I watched some Nanaya vids so I picked him back up again. I tried copying someones nanaya pressure but as you can see it didn't work very efficiently. Probably because I suck (on top of being half-awake) and don't know how to do his pressure right.

GGs, sorry a CPU in practice would have probably given you more challenge. Arc's my current learning character, and while I can win like 90% against the CPU and perform BnBs like in the 75-80% range on netplay as usual it falls apart, I'll never get used to the delay. Plus that whole sucking in general compared to humans thing.

I figured the last round was either you being tired of it and wanting to lose, or getting a bit tired/sloppy from all those rounds, or maybe just giving me a round out of pity. I saw you stop moving a few times in earlier rounds. As for that last round, that second arc drive was a complete accident, I was trying to do 214B and you airdashed over me so it turned into a 6-214 and on the other side activated it, haha.

Yeah, netplay is teaching me where to block but if I even try and poke out it's almost always pain train, it seems like even identical moves (2A vs 2A) get beat out by my opponent and then I just get air-raped again. As for pressure, I swear vs CPU or on the same machine I can manage combos that don't leave any tech or block openings but on netplay the timing falls apart...

Nanaya's blood heat AD is unblockable. Either dodge or get out of it's way. As a side note, Tohno's AD is unblockable at point blank range I think. I wasn't having any lag issues, though.

It was intermittent for me. I kinda ragequit when I was mashing 214C for like 3 seconds to get it to come out before the AD hit me, since I know 214C has like half a second of invulnerability, and then after I got hit by it, I was mashing heat on wakeup and, again, it didn't come out.
And if Nanaya's blood heat AD is unblockable, is there anything you can do against a meaty AD?

Dodging, blocking, avoiding. As long as it's not in blood heat there's not much to fear. After that, of course, punish them.
